Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about tracking packages with TrackHive.

How do I track a package with TrackHive?

Enter your tracking number in the search box at the top of the page and click "Track Package". TrackHive automatically detects whether it's a USPS, FedEx, UPS, or DHL shipment and opens the carrier's live tracking page with your number pre-filled.

Can I track multiple packages at once?

Yes! Use the Bulk Tracking section to paste up to 20 tracking numbers at once — one per line. TrackHive detects the carrier for each and shows all statuses in one view. You can mix USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL numbers in the same batch.

Is TrackHive completely free?

Completely free. No subscription, no premium tier, no account required. TrackHive is a free tool for consumers, small businesses, and anyone who needs to track packages quickly and easily.

Which shipping carriers does TrackHive support?

TrackHive supports USPS (United States Postal Service), FedEx, UPS (United Parcel Service), and DHL. These four carriers handle the vast majority of domestic US and international package deliveries.

How does automatic carrier detection work?

Each carrier uses a distinct tracking number format. UPS numbers always start with "1Z", USPS numbers are typically 20–22 digits starting with 9, FedEx numbers are 12 or 15 digits, and DHL numbers follow their own alphanumeric patterns. TrackHive recognizes these formats instantly without you needing to know the carrier.

Why isn't my tracking number being recognized?

Make sure you've copied the full tracking number. Spaces and dashes are stripped automatically, but other extra characters may cause issues. Some older or non-standard tracking numbers may not match our patterns — try visiting the carrier's website directly in that case.

Does TrackHive store my tracking numbers?

TrackHive saves your recent tracking history locally in your browser using localStorage — only you can see it, and it never leaves your device. We do not send your tracking numbers to any server. Clear your browser data at any time to remove this history.
